We are coming to one of Galway West’s most established communities. Shantalla is Galway’s first council housing estate, a model we need repeated today. The location of our first community meeting is St Joseph’s, Ashe Rd.

Oughterard is one of the fastest growing towns in the country, with a 40% increase in population between the 2016 and 2022 census. I hope to hear about what makes Oughterard such an attractive place to live, and how the community is managing any growing pains.
